Welded Spiral Heat Exchanger

Welded Spiral Plate Heat Exchanger is a highly efficient heat exchange equipment, which mainly consists of two spiral metal plates welded together to form a fluid channel. Its design makes the fluid flow in a spiral way in the channel, increasing the contact area of the fluid, thus improving the heat exchange efficiency.

Product Introduction

Spiral plate heat exchanger consists of metal thin slats, fixed-pitch column, pressure sleeve, end cap, receiver and other main parts. Two relatively long metal sheet strips welded with fixed-pitch columns are rolled into a spiral around a separate axis, forming a pair of mutually spaced spiral channels. After sealing the edges of the channels, the two liquids, hot and cold, can flow in their respective narrow channels and exchange heat through the thin plates between them.

Product structure

The edge of the spiral channel can be closed by welding to form a non-detachable structure, and if the end cover is used, it can form a detachable structure for easy cleaning.

There are three types of channel closure: flap welding, liner welding and round steel welding. Among them, the flap method is characterized by fewer welding channels and does not require additional material.

Unique flow characteristics
The spiral single-channel structure of the spiral plate heat exchanger means that the fluid on each side occupies a channel, and the fluid can flow along the spiral curve trajectory in the curved channel.
The cross-sectional area of the flow of the spiral plate heat exchanger can be adjusted by the width of the rolled plate and the height of the positioning column. Therefore, spiral plate heat exchanger is the most suitable heat exchanger for working conditions.

Product features

1. Effective recovery of low-temperature heat energy: the two working media in the equipment can carry out full countercurrent heat exchange, suitable for small temperature difference heat transfer, waste heat recovery, make full use of low-temperature heat energy.
2. High heat transfer efficiency: the heat transfer efficiency is 1-3 times that of tube heat exchanger, and the heat transfer coefficient can reach up to 3300W/(m²k).
3. Strong operational reliability: non-detachable two-channel welded seal to ensure that the two media do not mix.
4. Small resistance: low pressure loss, handling large-capacity steam or gas; self-cleaning ability, because of its spiral flow of media, dirt is not easy to deposit.
