H-Bloc fully welded plate heat exchangers are suitable for a wide range of fluids, temperatures and pressures.
H-Bloc is ideal for liquid-liquid, condensing and evaporating applications such as oil/gas, pharmaceutical, marine, pulp and paper, power, food and beverage and HVAC industries.
How H-Bloc works
- The plates are welded together at their edges to form a core.
- The media flows crosswise at a 90° angle.
- All four plates are removable for easy cleaning from all four sides.
- Special baffles allow a multi-channel design, which only requires an increase in height for heat exchangers with large heat loads, without significantly changing the footprint.
This means a maximum size of 1.7 m².

Edge Welding Enhanced Design
Edge welding allows for field repair of the plate set, extending product life and reducing productivity loss from unplanned downtime. Competitors’ plates are all butt-welded, so field repairs are not possible when needed.
